Dried Fruit Quick Answers

How do we make our dried fruit?

We start with fresh fruit, wash it, prepare and cut it, then arrange it on trays for drying. Depending on the fruit, drying usually takes around 6–12 hours. Nothing artificial is added — the fruit simply loses much of its water while its flavour becomes beautifully concentrated.

Is there added sugar in our dried fruit?

No. We don't add sugar to our dried fruit. Fruit naturally contains its own sugars, and as water is removed during drying, the fruit's natural sweetness and flavour become more concentrated.

Why does the texture change after opening?

Dried fruit naturally absorbs moisture from the air once the packet is opened. It may start crisp and gradually become softer or more leathery. This is completely natural.

How should I store my dried fruit?

Keep it sealed in its packet or transfer it to an airtight container. Store it in a cool, dry place away from heat, sunlight and moisture. Once opened, close it well after every little visit.

How long is dried fruit at its best?

Because we don't add preservatives, our dried fruit is best enjoyed while it's still fresh. Once opened, enjoy it within the next few days for the flavour and texture we love most.

Why can my dried fruit behave differently in different places?

Humidity makes a difference. In a dry climate, dried fruit may stay crisp for longer. In more humid areas, especially near the coast, it can absorb moisture from the air and soften more quickly. Nothing has gone wrong — it’s simply real fruit responding naturally to its surroundings.
